A Weather of Change

When it rains, it’s a monsoon.
When it’s sunny you’re warm,
blinded – in a good way.
When the heat and the rain clears
muggy air hangs in your lungs whilst you breath out contemplation.
Stillness is sticky heat.
Today I was lost in a baby’s smile.
Today I moved slow.
Today I was grateful and content.
Despite the chaos that still echoes over me
from two weeks past.
